Hunan Oriental Scandium Co., Ltd. (OSC) was established in August 2011, with a registered capital of CNY 127.6 million. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LB Group. (SHENZHEN 002601). The company is located in China (Hunan) Free Trade Zone and the National-level Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is 12 kilometers away from Huanghua International Airport and 12 kilometers away from Changsha High-Speed Railway South Station. The company has wholly-owned subsidiaries: Henan Rongjia Scandium Vanadium Science&Technology Co.,Ltd, Henan Oriental Scandium New Energy Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Yunnan Oriental Scandium New Materials Co., Ltd.
The company is the first enterprise in the world to achieve large-scale industrialization of scandium products. Through independent innovation, it has successfully extracted vanadium raw materials from titanium dioxide waste liquid at a low cost and on a large scale, and has successfully built a short-process production line for electrolyte in a short period of time. The company has been approved as the Henan Province Scandium and Vanadium Recovery and Utilization Engineering Technology Research Center.
