About Aluminum Magnesium Scandium
AlSi7Mg is a hardenable aluminum-based alloy with a density of about 2.68 g/cm3. It is suitable for components with thin-walls and complex geometries. AlSi7Mg is highly suitable for processing and displays high corrosion resistance and good tolerance against strain. Production Process
AlSi7Mg alloy ingot or well-proportioned alloy material can be made into powder by inert gas atomization process.
Our processes are run with Argon or Nitrogen as atomization gas in a dust-free production environment to guarantee maximum product quality.
Typical Applications
AlSi7Mg powder is mainly applicable for selective laser melting (SLM) and also can be used for electron beam additive manufacturing (EBM), powder metallurgy (PM), spraying and other processes. Aluminum-based metal powder is widely used in aerospace parts, automotive parts, profile surface spraying, and powder metallurgy. It works on all SLM 3D printing machines.
Packaging Specifications / Packaging
AlSi7Mg powder is usually packed in 5kg HDPE Drum. We HNOSC can pack the powder according to your specific needs and manage transport organization. Samples are available for research, test and trial purposes.
