About Scandia Stabilized Zirconia
Scandia Stabilized Zirconia powder has the highest oxygen ion conductivity among zirconia-based ceramic electrolyte materials. It is used as an electrolyte membrane in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) to improve performance and reduce operating temperatures. It can also be used as a component in high performance composite cathodes or cermet anodes.

The process for production is pulverizing a scandia-stabilized zirconia sintered body to obtain a scandia-stabilized zirconia sintered powder.
